Very nice hotel to stay. Lots of parking space, clean room, new furniture. No need for anything else. This was the best hotel in our 24 day usa trip.

the hotel is in need of a facelift, it is warn out, the Restuarant and bar were not available, and breakfast was an apple, yoghurt, muffin to go with coffee, really poor value for money. This should have been clear up front.

Well the location was nice. The lady helping get our room was nice. But due to the fact there was a power outage I was unable to use my Cpap and could not sleep, watch tv, use internet, have ice or take a shower!!!

Mammoth looks good in the pictures, but the restaurant...
Mammoth looks good in the pictures, but the restaurant choices are very limited, and there are no Doordash type services available anywhere on the mountain. You literally couldn't even get a pizza delivered. If you're traveling with a family, I would go somewhere else - this is not a family friendly place.

Mammoth Lakes is mainly for skiers during the winter but could be a great destination for families with kids too. There's a lot of areas where you can just pull over and sled with your kid. Wooly's Adventure Summit also just opened their Mountain Coaster ride which is so much fun.
One thing I would highly recommend is booking your attraction tickets in advance because the line to buy the tickets can be very long.

Best Western Properties have changed in Mammoth Lakes.
Best Western Properties have changed in Mammoth Lakes. This one was not familiar to me, and the one with which I was familiar is no longer a Best Western property.
The room itself was fine, clean, albeit a little odd in it's elongated arrangement (kind of like a train car).
However, the lack of an elevator, the many flights of stairs to access 2nd floor room, the creaky locks on the (apparently) old door fixtures (I had to ask for help to get OUT of the hotel!to the rear parking lot), and the general appearance, arrangement of the place are why I chose 3 stars.
The breakfast room and its attendant were fine. The housekeepers were cheerful and helpful.
Oh sorry! I thought this was a review for Best Western!!!

In Summer, Mammoth has a lot to offer if you are into trails, seeing stunning lakes and waterfalls, doing various adrenalin activities like mountain biking or wakeboarding.
We ran out of time to do everything (I would've liked to have gone to Brodie), but can recommend the trail from Devils Postpile to Rainbow Falls which was truly spectacular. It's also worth viewing the lakes at sunrise or sunset to get a different perspective of the landscape. Finally, a trip on the gondola was good fun with great hot chocolates served at the summit!

There are so many things to do in and around Mammoth Lakes. Mountain biking, hiking trails, coffee shops and restaurants. And Mammoth Lakes provides a jumping off point to Red's Meadows, Tioga Pass highway and Tuolumne and Yosemite, June Lake, Lee Vining, Mono Lake and its Visitors Center.

Beautiful place to visit with many hidden lakes on the June Loop easy to reach and complete within an hour or so no stopping in the Summer. Come during holidsys Xmas and it was decoratedcute with lights and a Xmas tree. Loved it! Perfect for family or friends getaway long weekend 3 days barely enough or short family trip 4-5 days is best.
We had a great view of the mountain and the hotel was close to good restaurants. The room was also exceptionally clean. I liked that they provided many pillows in different levels of fluffiness so you could find the one that suits you. The comfort of the bed was above average. I would give it an 9 out of 10 for comfort. It was very comfortable but I have slept in a couple of hotel beds that were better.
The location is very near restaurants, ski rentals, and ski shops. It is also just across a gas station and souvenir shops. The rooms are surprisingly cleaner than what we expected and was able to bring our pet dog too. The room has a microwave which is rare to find on hotels nowadays.
super convenient spot. great amenities - reasonably priced and staff is super friendly. love that they’re dog friendly and have a shuttle to the mountain. super comfy beds and a very powerful room heater. awesome hot tub as well. I always stay here when I visit mammoth.
Quite, clean rooms with a nice kitchen and living area. The guy next door kept charging his BMW EV from the inside room outlet and the office lady gave him crap! How can you justify cheating the hotel of electricity when you pay close to $100k for the car?!
Staff was very helpful. Right by ski slope which has loads of mountain biking and other activities in the summer. It has good public transport options. Buses into town and reds meadow run right from the hotel as well as Yarts which takes you to Yosemite.
Right in the centre of Mammoth Lakes, but off the main road. Good size fridge in the room. Really enjoyable buffet breakfast. I can imagine Cinnamon Bear Inn would be so cozy in the winter (we stayed in September).
We got a very large and clean room, the hotel has a great hot tub. Heating in the room. The motel is close to the town center, the ski resorts and restaurants. The motel offers a hot and full breakfast.
Location, very quiet.
Small one queen bedroom, but location of the room excellent with nice view to the forest. During our short stay was perfectly quiet, which we loved.
Hotel staff was very friendly.
The room was very cold and we could not turn on hot air conditioner. There was not more blankets and my friend use tower to make hot in the bed. I did not like this hotel.
The staff were really nice. We liked the proximity to restaurants and tap rooms. We had a good night's sleep. The hotel room had everything we needed. Bed was comfy.
