Oyado Koto No Yume ligger bare 2 minutters gange fra Takayama stasjon og har rom i japansk stil med fargerike innslag, termalbad, en restaurant og gratis Wi-Fi overalt. It's really hard to express how superb this stay was. And it was only 1 day. I imagine this is thanks to type of the place, not being typical hotel, but rather traditional ryokan with it's quality. From the beginning, the staff was excellent. Helpful, informative, easy to talk to. The room, comparing to our other hotels, was huge. Sleeping on futon was our best sleeping experience during whole stay in Japan. We have booked private bath, and again - everything well prepared, all important things available in the room. We were provided also with yukatas to be used in ryokan, but in addition we could also use more colorful that could be used outside. Hotel is 5 minutes walk from main station and on the way to old town of Takayama. The last but not least - breakfast was the best we had in Japan. We have chosen Japanese one and we could try many elements.

Ryokan Hostel K 's House ligger i en 100 år gammel vernet bygning i Shizuoka, en 7-minutters spasertur fra JR Ito togstasjon. Vandrerhjemmet tilbyr bad i varme kilder, gratis Wi-Fi og 3 stuer. Traditional inn, old building but extremely clean and warm. I booked room without toilet, glad there is shared toilet on every floor and 1 just outside our room. Common lounge has card and board games, we had great time playing. Staff are polite and helpful, location is near restaurants and Ito station.

Situated 1.5 km from Takayama Station, Iroriyado Hidaya is a recently renovated 4-star accommodation in Takayama, boasting a garden, a shared lounge and private parking. The hosts were welcoming and attentive to our needs. The decor and ambience of our room. Available parking and the cleanliness of the place.

Atami Sekaie is set in Atami, 2.6 km from Atami Sun Beach, 25 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, and 35 km from Shuzen-ji Temple. We really enjoyed our stay and the meals (dinner & breakfast) were excellent.

Situated in Atami in the Shizuoka region with Atami Sun Beach nearby, SOKI ATAMI features accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a sauna. Location is a little out of town, definitely need a car, but loads of parking. SO well designed, just perfect

Offering a shared lounge and quiet street view, Toraya is set in Gero, 48 km from Takayama Station and 49 km from Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village. This was a great find! The location, facilities, staff and breakfast was excellent. The Onsen was outdoor and had a beautiful garden setting. The check-in was very personable and informative about what to see and where to eat. We will return.

Set 9.1 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, Yumeguri no Yado Yoshiharu offers 5-star accommodation in Izunokuni and has a garden. Beautiful, authentic, very relaxing stay. Would recommend for couples as it has the opportunity for private onsen baths which were so nice (there are also public onsens). The rooms were really spacious and tea services were provided in the rooms. The dining experience was really unique with all of the separate dishes and super high quality. The town is small so whilst I'm sure there are other places to eat, there is no need to do that. Also super fun to go to the panorama park and get brilliant photos of Mount Fuji.

Facing the seafront, Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse 伊豆北川の家 is a ryokan providing a 2-star accommodation in Higashiizu. It features a private beach area, garden and private parking. The kindest owner I've ever had. He cares about our comfort and has a genuine curiosity about the guests. I felt like at home. Really cozy and comfortable stay. 100% recommended!

Offering a garden and garden view, Nagataki is located in Nakatsugawa, 13 km from Ōi and 34 km from Japan Taisho Village. The property is allergy-free and is situated 12 km from Enakyo Wonderland. Very good experience in old rayokan. Big house great hospitality.

34 km from Shuzen-ji Temple in Higashiizu, Bousui offers accommodation with access to a sauna, hot spring bath and hot tub. The property has sea and quiet street views, and is 49 km from Mount Daruma.... Bousui - really magnificent ryokan hotel which takes special place in my wife’s and mine hearts😄! Room was very big, all over traditionally designed, very atmospheric and comfortable! Hot spring baths were amazing too: luxurious, very comfortable and with beautiful sea views! Premium gazebo was especially great! Really worth it! Employee, who helped us in room was very attentive, helpful and made all we could need to take all the best from our staying! Special thanks for pleasant conversations and tons of very interesting information! You made our staying unforgettable! Additionally to traditional breakfast, we asked for Kaiseki dinner - it was third Kaiseki we got, and truly, the most delicious and impressive! Fish was as fresh as it is possible, serving was full of beautiful and very interesting details! Last, but not least part of our rest was massage in award winning GECCA SPA: to be honest, Suzune gave me greatest massage I ever got! She was so attentive and diligent, made message with so masterpiece, that I’ve got extreme pleasure and relief! More over, it was first time when I feel, that therapist don’t just do it work, but really cares of me!🙏🏻 Btw, my wife never liked massages, but even she was really impressed by Suzune’s work!
