We stayed in Cottage C. Essentially it was a whole house! VERY clean. Everything was supplied...coffee maker, washer/dryer, cookware etc. Large comfortable bed. The owner, Andi, checked in with us every day. As there is no large grocery store in Bluff, buy your groceries at Clarke's in Blanding.

The location was fine for Marfa--just a minute or two outside town. I wouldn't have wanted to walk into town from the location as there wasn't much in the way of a sidewalk, but we were very close to the downtown area. The room was quiet and clean, and we slept well.

Charging for sunshades is a joke and really annoying. Cabanas off the scale expensive at $300++ a day! But just for a sunshade they want to charge $32. Two chairs included in room thankfully but still they charge extra for a sun shade. Sharp practice in my book. Are they trying to encourage skin cancer?

I left my brand new Apple iPhone charger plugged in between the two beds but when I called to say I would be back to pick it up, no one could find it. Also didn't like the train noise all night long. Would have preferred a room on the other side of the hall which I know was available. We did not ask to change though as we were not aware of the trains until settled into bed and the little one had already fell asleep.

Breakfast buffet used plastic cutlery and paper plates. Staff were very good at tidying up, so much so we used new plates and cutlery for every dish. This is wasteful and sustainably poor. Could do with some redecoration
