Truly the best – an unforgettable stay at Pink Flamingo in Moshi! My stay at Pink Flamingo was absolutely exceptional. From the moment I arrived until the day I left, everything was perfect. More Than A Drop (MTAD) is an oasis in Moshi. I stayed for about a week in February 2025. MTAD is located just outside of Moshi. Although I mostly just walked to town tuk tuks or motorcycle rides come by every minute or two. Ths staff are friendly and helpful. They accomodated any request including 5 AM breakfast. Milli arranged for transportation and advised on tours. The breakfast and dinners were delicious offering traditional local dishes as well as conventional favorites. Especially mango sorbet! Much is grown in the gardens. Everything is prepared in house, including fresh baked breads and cakes in the morning. The facility is spotlessly clean. I spent many hours relaxing in the shade on a setee or sipping cold lager on the patio. My time there will be remembered as a hilight of my trip.

We did choose Tulivu relying a lot on the positive reviews from other travellers and they all have been very right. Tulivu is an oasis in the hustle of Moshi and Kilimanjaro area. It is a perfect platform for departures to hiking, tours and trips You might wish to have while staying there. Manny gave us many good recommendations and also organized everything we needed. The staff at the site is very kind and service minded, The facilities are great - you can swim in a big pool, enjoy cold beer or relax in the green lush garden. And bunnies in the garden were sweet. There are special spots marked in the garden with the best views on Kili, very thoughtful. Room with the pool view is recommended - as You can actually not just look at this, but also take a small dip in front of Your door.

The staff are happy and helpful. It is well cared for and very clean. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is all freshly cooked and well presented. It is a calm and caring place to stay. We had a lovely visit and highly recommend it.

An excellent choice for staying in Moshi! Clear views of Kilimanjaro from the top floor and very nice, comfortable rooms. The property owner, Gabriel was very helpful and attentive in making sure my stay was an enjoyable one. The food and restaurant service was very good. Exceptional value for money here. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to others and would stay here again on a return trip to Moshi.

We stayed on the seventh floor in the King Room. It's a corner room with two large patio windows on either side, which open on to two balconies. This room must have the best veiw of Kilimanjaro than any other hotel in Moshi. We spent three nights here and the best time to see the mountain was at sunrise, which in February was around 6.45am. At this time there was a clear unobstructed view as there was no cloud. After breakfast Kilimanjaro had disappeared for the rest of the day hidden beneath a layer of thick cloud. In the words of a tour operator, Mount Kilimanjaro loves to play hide and seek.  The hotel is a good modern hotel with all the amenities you'd expect. And has a great view of Kilimanjaro from the roof top bar. Although, it gets rather windy up there at sunset. It's a shame that the bar staff play very loud music, which totally spoils the ambience of the occasion. The breakfast is good and the waiting staff are very attentive and Jordon M, the chef, will cook eggs just as you like them. The room is well made up every day with all toiletries and towels are replenished. I found the air-conditioning controls difficult to operate but reception were quickly on hand to assist.  What makes the King Room, on the seventh floor, so outstanding is the magnificent, unobstructed, view of Kilimanjaro, which, when all said and done, is the only reason to be in Moshi

    Moshi is a friendly mid sized town. The street markets are nice to visit and there are numerous day trips to experience. It is great to visit before or after your Kilimanjaro/Meru hike or safari. People are friendly and helpful here and I felt very safe.

    Walk around the property. Many things to do in Moshi. Indioitaliano has the best Pizza in moshi. Be sure to get a view of Kilimanjaro. From the rooftop bar. Rafiki Supermarkets have a great selection of items. Waterforlife statue at round about on the main road. If Hostel life is for you make sure to see what Hostel Hoff has to offer.

    The only reason to go to Moshi is a jumping off point for climbing Mt Kilimanjaro and/or safari. The town itself is a working medium size town, some catering to tourism, somewhta scruffy. No nice area to walk or anything particularly interesting.

    The weather is great - quite cool at this time of year. The town is clean and well labelled. It is a small town so its very serene and has little traffic jam. I consider it a great stop-over if heading to Dar es salaam by road from the Kenya side.

    It's a clean city, the people are very friendly and helpful. The club vibe is amazing. For Touring around and climbing Mt Kilimanjaro, i recommend Fred's trekking and safaris. They are the best.

    Everything was beyond expectations, Dee welcomed us and helped us with everything we needed, she planned our excursions finding very good deals tailored for us. We had the chance to spend time with her and her friends and to really experience the Tanzanian way of living, if you are looking for an authentic experience mkoani homestasy is the place to go.     We very much enjoyed our stay at Kisanga. The staff was very welcoming, the hotel is very new and beautifully decorated. The rooms are clean and we slept very well in the bed. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Tanzania, offering a wide range of food like omelette, pancakes, fresh fruits, coffee, tea, bread, and vegetables and baked beans. Overall, we would definitely come back and we highly recommend this place!

    The tourist experience in Moshi Town is relatively poor, but this hotel is a plus. It feels very comfortable to stay in the yard. I feel dizzy when I go out of the door. The road is too bad outside.
