    “Location was perfect for snowmobiling. We had trail access and we’re able to do 200 miles a day in different directions each day. The vila was clean comfortable and had everything we needed. Having a large group 2 bathrooms were fabulous.”

With a "million dollar" front view, you will love this idyllic setting. Situated lakeside on the edge of the Aroostook State Park in northern Maine, this is the perfect four season getaway. All one level/ handicap accessible with radiant floor heat throughout the property. Ample parking at property with ramp access to entrance. Non smoking inside and out. There are hiking, cross-country ski and snow mobile trails (major trail - ITS 83 and trail 74) almost at your doorstep along with kayaking, fishing and loads of outdoor recreational options. Adult Pet(s), 2 max, may be allowed on an individual basis (MUST be pre-approved) - contact host to request.
I am an empty nester who loves to travel and meet people from all over the world. I am away a lot but live in the separate, walk-out basement apartment downstairs when home (private entry, no facilities shared with guests except driveway). I would be delighted to host you and hope you have a comfortable and enjoyable time if you choose to stay in my home. I want others to enjoy the peace and tranquility of this hidden jewel of a location.
Beautiful countryside right on the shores of Echo Lake on the northern tip of the Aroostook State Park, just off US Highway 1. The Presque Isle snowmobile clubhouse is right by the park. The balloon park (site of the first transatlantic hot air balloon launch) is 2 mins down the road and is also on the snowmobile trail. You can walk, bike or cross-country ski to the nearby park but will need a vehicle or taxi (Uber occasionally available) for shops downtown. The Presque Isle regional airport in town, 5 miles from the house, has connections to many destinations flying United via Newark.
