Company information

The Santiago Family is proud of our third-generation family-owned Southernmost Point Guest House. Founded by patriarchs Sandy Sr. & Ramona Santiago in 1987, our bed-and-breakfast, garden bar and food truck are now managed by son Sandy Santiago, Jr. & granddaughter Talia Santiago-Jones, who is a sixth-generation Conch (born in Key West). We take great pride in welcoming guests to our beautiful home at the Southernmost Point in the USA, and with the addition of our on-site Southernmost Point Bar in 2020 and our Southernmost Sandy’s Café food truck in 2022, we strive to make your stay with us a fully inclusive and authentic Key West experience. We hope that you enjoy our beautiful and uniquely appointed rooms, relaxing tropical garden spaces, just steps from the famous Southernmost Point Buoy. We love to share our little slice of paradise and provide a home away from home during your stay, as it has been for our visitors for almost 40 years. We welcome you to the Southernmost Point Guest House family! Have a wonderful day! The Santiago Family

Property information

Our Bed and Breakfast was the family home of cigar tycoon Eduardo H Gato, which was built in 1895. The largest cigar manufacturer and employer of the time, Mr. Gato had the mansion moved across Duval Street by mules because he didn't like how the setting sun shined on the porch where he and his family spent their afternoons. Because of this, the Southernmost Point Guest House is the only odd numbered address (1327 Duval St.) on the even side of Duval Street. Our property hosts 13 different rooms thorough out our 4 historical buildings. Please call us directly for a better description as to where each room is located.

Neighbourhood information

We are located at the historic corner of Duval and South Streets next door to the Butterfly Conservatory. Just a half block from the famous Southernmost Point Monument, we are steps away from South Beach and the Atlantic Ocean. We are on the "quiet end" of famous Duval Street, but in walking distance of all of the fun that downtown has to offer!
