Immerse yourself among the peaceful hills and forest at Khushatta Hills Ranch Camp! Located near Lake Livingston and Sam Houston National Park, we provide the perfect basecamp to enjoy outdoor activities in comfort. This glamping tent accommodates four people with a queen and full-size bed. After a day of outdoor adventures, relax sitting in Adirondack chairs on your private deck. This is the perfect getaway for families and couples looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Houston, Texas. Guests have access to two bbq grills underneath the pavilion and firepits on site. We have outdoor bathrooms and showers for shared guest use. The showers do not have hot water, but will be nice and refreshing during our summer season. There is also electricity at the pavilion where guests can charge their phones or electronic devices. Please note that nights can get cold and we recommend bringing an extra blanket. These are off-grid glamping tents and are not equipped with AC or heating. This is one of three glamping tents at Khushatta Hills. We also have one tent that is ADA accessible, and one that is perfect for couples with one queen bed. If you are interested in the other tents or traveling with a large party please let us know and we can direct you to those listings to help you book them. These are new glamping tents on our property so we will have more photos coming soon!

Neighbourhood information

We are located within a beautiful natural setting in Coldspring, Texas. For hiking you cannot miss Sam Houston National Forest which contains some of the best hiking trails in the state. Lone Star Hiking trail passes through this National Park which is one of four in the state of Texas. We are also conveniently located next to Lake Livingston where you can go swimming, canoeing or just relax by the lake. Trinity River is also close by which is very popular for kayaking. Nearby and on-site there are fishing tours, bike trails, bird-watching, and wineries nearby.
