Established in 1957, Edelweiss Lodge is located in a quiet area of town known as “Old Mammoth” conveniently located on the town's complimentary bus route. The lodge provides pet-friendly suites and cabins that retain distinctive 1950s character (see pet policy below). Accommodations feature fully equipped kitchens (excluding studios), wood burning fireplaces in most cabins/suites, flat-screen TV with cable and complimentary Wi-Fi and on-site parking are provided, ensuring guests enjoy a comfortable and timeless experience. Convenient Location: Located 3 minutes’ drive to Snowcreek Golf Course, 1 mi away from Mammoth Creek Park and Mammoth Ice Rink. Mammoth Mountain Ski Area is 3.3 miles away. No-shows will be charged the full amount of the reservation.
Please be sure to check for road closures during winter months. Highway 120 (Tioga Pass) typically closes from late October until late May. When the Tioga Road is closed, it is not possible to drive to Tuolumne Meadows or enter Yosemite National Park from the east. All other park entrances, including those along Highway 120 from the west, Hetch Hetchy, Highway 140 and Highway 41, remain open all year.
Please note that this year, the Tioga Pass will be closed until late June.
