We, Pontheolla and Paul the owners of Clevedale, are dedicated to restoration while providing modern conveniences to create an atmosphere of casual elegance. Our sun-kissed porches with stately columns and historic wrought iron are made comfortable and homey with rockers, lounge chairs, tables, and greenery. From every vantage point, you can get a view of our gardens transporting you to the Italian countryside and beyond. Often times you will see a guest unwinding with a book, a cup of tea, a refreshing glass of lemonade, or a glass of wine from our local wine shop. With its crackling fire, the Foyer and Parlor are ideal places to chat with friends over a glass of vintage port. We delight in sharing with you our home and what is our labor of love. We want your Clevedale Historic Inn & Gardens experience to give you the feel of the gracious South as soon as you enter the crepe myrtle-lined drive. Just minutes from downtown Spartanburg, you can enjoy our art, food, and entertainment scenes. We are easily accessible to highways I-26 and I-85, making it convenient to visit Greenville SC, Asheville and Charlotte NC, and Nashville TN. We also boast about being only minutes from GSP!
