We have been visiting Slovenia for many years and after a few years bought a holiday home. We then decided that we wanted to spend more time in this beautiful country and bought Sundara Prana, which enables us to live here most of the year. The house has been fully renovated to a high standard, retaining some of its original features, such as the stone room heater and vaulted ceilings. we have also added modern conveniences such as, electric radiators, dishwasher and a sauna.
The village of koprivnik is quiet and friendly. We have to two local bars, one that serves amazing home made soups and strudel. There is an amazing viewpoint 10 minutes walk from the house that over looks Lake Bohinj. This is well worth a look.
