Our cottage is located in an Alpine meadow at an altitude of 1000 m. There᾽s an asphalt road that leads to Vogar. You can drive up with your car. There is a parking lot, then you can walk down to the cottage, it will take you about 10 minutes. We can help you to take your baggage in to the cottage.The cottage is on peaceful and lonely place, but you can drive every day bycar down to the valley, where you have a shop to by food (about 10 minutes by car – 9 km). In the pasture of Vogar there is also a cottage where they cook food in the summer and you can go to eat. Vogar is an ideal point to hike to the Julian Alps mountain. Many mountains and Alpine meadows are about one or two hours distance. To Triglav mountain you walk for two days. You should stay overnight in one of the mountain huts. You can also drive down to the valley and swimm in Bohinj lake.
