Nothing can beat our views of the valley, native bush and bird song. We have beautiful short bush walks at our doorstep and provide head torches so you can spot you own gloworms at night. We offer a free continental breakfast with coffee and homemade muesli, so you can make the most of your mornings during your stay, and relax in the peaceful surrounds.
This is a 4th general family property and Rob and Liz have lived in the region all their lives, working in the rural sector and tourism. They love sharing this special place with visitors, and pride themselves on a relaxing, quiet, rural NZ experience. Eeyore the donkey is a guest favourite, he loves an apple (bring a bag) and a pat.
We suggest a 2 or more night stay to experience all that Waitomo has to offer, and then use us as a base to visit Hobbiton 1 hr 15 mins (one way). Auckland 2hr, Rotorua 2 hrs, Taupo 2 hrs, New Plymouth 2.5 hrs. Experience the black sands of Kawhia Beach (1hr), dig your own hot pools, and have fish and chips on the beach.
