This spacious, cabin style, home has a cosy wood burner which opens up to sunny deck overlooking a reserve. Enjoy the views of mighty Mount Ruapehu through the native garden. Your place to relax after a day of adventure. Family and friends will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located chalet. You'll be walking distance to the Junction Restaurants and Pubs and a short drive to the Carrot Park. Enjoy the peacefulness on the deck and take a break from everyday life. A full kitchen lets you enjoy the chalet and cook for yourself. Make yourself an espresso coffee to fuel your days adventures, and keep the drinks cool for your return. The large dining table seats 6 comfortably, with extra chairs if required. Sink into the couches by the fire, but still be social with the open plan layout. Downstairs has a private bedroom, separate toilet, large bathroom with a gorgeous claw bath. Upstairs has a range of bed layouts to sit your family or group. The large sunny bedroom is often used as an extra hangout area. 2 bedrooms that can access the modern bathroom. Light the fire, kick back and make memories at the Adventure Base.
Tom and I love the outdoors, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, surfing, golf, fishing. We have 3 young children that are into it as much as we are! We love returning to our adventure base, relaxing by the fire, or getting competitive with some old school board games and a wine. We are based in sunny Mount Maunganui and have hosted plenty of guests here in the past. Now we are stoked to share our Ohakune Cabin with you too.
