Modern and comfortable holiday lodge (2021) for 4 people (+ baby). With bright and spacious living room and kitchen. Sliding doors to the large terrace with a new lounge set and a 4-person dining set. In the Rietreiger there are two spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom en-suite with rain shower. Separate toilet. It is a gas-free holiday home, so it is fire-safe and focused on the future. There is also smart TV and free WIFI connection, a private outdoor sauna (ask for price per stay) and a charging station at the private parking. De Rietreiger is located in a quiet and green holiday park on Yn'e Lijte, near the Alde Feanen National Park in Friesland (Grou). The holiday lodge is equipped with all conveniences and comfort: each room has its own super quiet air conditioning and there is underfloor heating in the living room and dining kitchen. The kitchen is fully equiped and includes both a Nespresso as well as a Senseo coffee machine. Furthermore, a Bosch induction hob, combi microwave oven, kettle and dishwasher. The storage room contains a new and energy-efficient washing machine, heat pump dryer and freezer as well. With so much comfort you will quickly feel at home!
We are the proud owners of this new holiday lodge in the heart of Friesland. We love water sports and the Frisian lakes. The reason why our holiday home is located in Friesland. When we are not in the holiday lodge ourselves, we are happy to rent out our wonderfully spacious holiday lodge to other decent tenants.
The Rietreiger holiday lodge is located in the quiet and green holiday park Yn'e Lijte near De Alde Feanen National Park. The park is located on the island Yn'e Lijte, which is connected to the super cozy water sports village of Grou by a bridge and a foot and bicycle ferry (in summer). In Grou are many nice restaurants, bars, shops and a wonderfully relaxed almost 'Wadden Island' atmosphere. In the Rietreiger you can relax or enjoy an active holiday. You can rent a boat (or bring your own!) and make beautiful trips on the water. De Rietreiger is located in the Alde Feanen National Park, which is wonderful to discover with a sailboat, motorboat, sloop, canoe or SUP. It is also very nice to cycle the '8 van Grou', either the 'Pontjes-route' in summer (because of ferries), or take a walk through the Frisian countryside. This lakeside environment is also great for fishing enthusiasts. And do you want to go shopping, visit a museum or go to the movies? Grou is close to other Frisian places such as Leeuwarden, Sneek, Joure, Lemmer. Even the pleasant city of Groningen with its many restaurants, terraces, the Forum and Groninger museum are on just a 45-minute drive from Grou.
