About this property
Ambong Rainforest Retreat offers an adult-only getaway amidst tropical surroundings. Located on a steep hill within the rainforest, rooms are only accessible via long staircases. It is a 4-minute drive from Pantai Cenang, a 15-minute drive from Langkawi Airport and a 30-minute drive from Kuah Town. Modern rooms each come with a balcony offering forest views. A flat-screen satellite TV and free WiFi is provided. For recreation, an outdoor pool is available. On-site spa and massage treatments can be arranged upon request. The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Beginning 1 July 2016, as directed by the Langkawi Municipal Council, a local government Tourism Promotion Fee would be applicable per room per night.
