This 134 square metres self-catering duplex bungalow is the perfect holiday accommodation for a couple, a family. Located in Trou aux Biches on Mauritius’ North-West coast, the bungalow is only 30 metres away from the lagoon offering excellent snorkeling and swimming opportunities, and is close to the finest beaches on the island. Mont Choisy Le Golf, the only 18 hole golf course in the north of Mauritius, is less than 5 km away. A comfortable veranda, featuring deckchairs and a private not fenced pool, are available to use to cool off whenever you wish. All bedrooms are air conditioned. The space The open plan living area has a high ceiling, furnished with couches, TV, WIFI is available upon demand, dining table and a fully equipped kitchen area. On the first floor you will find an ensuite master bedroom with a digital safe, air conditioner and hairdryer. A second bathroom caters for the two other bedrooms. Each bedrooms are also air conditioned. Freshly laundered bed linen and towels are supplied. A maid services the bungalow 3 days a week, except on public holidays and week ends. Washing machine and iron are available. Guest access We will meet you at the bungalow to hand over the keys on your arrival and will collect them upon your departure. It can happen that the maid or another person welcome the guests if we are not available. Other things to note Electricity is to the meter. Electric Meter is read on arrival and departure.
Both my husband and myself are in the short term and long term rental business for several years now. Trou aux Biches for us has a wonderful climate, beautiful beach and special sunset. We just love to be there. Upon request we will help guests to reach the best place of interest, restaurants, car rentals etc.
Once a peaceful fishing village, Trou aux Biches has expanded into a well-known tourist destination with numerous water sports and facilities available. The bungalow is not on the beach but within walking distance (30m). You are also at walking distance from a supermarket, a pharmacy, a pizzeria, school, various restaurants, diving center, a bus stop and 5 star hotels. Mont Choisy Le Golf, the only 18 hole golf course in the north of Mauritius, is less than 5 km away. Tour operators nearby offer excursions to sites such as Casela Bird Park, Chamarel coloured earth, sunset cruises, golf, fishing, hiking at Domaine de l`Etoile, scuba diving, snorkeling and swimming with dolphins, the Mauritius Aquarium, catamaran cruises to Ilot Gabriel, Ile Plate, Ile aux Cerfs and the Ile aux Aigrettes wildlife sanctuary. The bungalow is within walking distance of bus stop, which can take you to various locations across the island. However the easiest way to navigate Mauritius is by renting a car.
