Sokluy (in English her name is happy money is operating the Homestay Ban Sokluy, she barely saved enough money to build a small house, but also opened 2 rental rooms in 2017. She opened up an apartment and some more rental rooms in 2022. Now, Sokluy works tirelessly to ensure that you have a great stay as she would like her Happy Home to be your home away from home! Staying with her, you are not only able to know the area of Siem Reap, but you also learn about the Cambodian culture as well. Have fun! We are also open to socialize, e.g. we can also bring you to the local market where not many foreigners have been yet or you can join us with the family meal.

Homestay Ban Sokluy - room 2: Located on the first floor. You will have your own air condition private room (bedroom with separate kitchen and bathroom). It is also possible to order food and drinks. On the ground floor there is a house and an apartment. Several rental rooms are located on the first floor.

Neighbourhood information

There are some (traditional) Khmer houses in the area, an abandoned golden temple, some nice-looking traditional agricultural fields and wetlands. It is a safe environment and it is easy to get in touch with the friendly local population! We can arrange all your transport requirements, like a tuktuk or car, while you are in Siem Reap and even help you plan an itinerary for your stay including tours to the temples, museum's or any other activities you may choose.
