We loved our stay at Trullo Picchiagiuda. At first I was disappointed because we weren't really in a Trullo with the high roof and interior ceilings, but in a smaller until below the main area. And, the location was very far from anything- you...

We loved the peacefulness of staying out in the country. There were other guests staying but they were out for most of the day/night so we felt like we had the place to ourselves. We had been to Ostuni markets (Saturday) before we arrived so we...

Trullo Picchiagiuda – A Charming Oasis in the Heart of Puglia Trullo Picchiagiuda is a beautiful complex of late 18th-century trulli and lamie, nestled in the greenery of the Apulian countryside. Here, the charm of a unique architectural heritage blends harmoniously with the tranquility of nature, offering the perfect balance between authenticity and modern comfort. Located in a panoramic area in the countryside of Ostuni, the Trullo has been carefully restored to preserve its identity as a historic stone house, while providing all the amenities for a relaxing stay. It is a peaceful oasis, ideal for those seeking a quiet retreat but also wishing to explore the most fascinating places in the Itria Valley and central Puglia, such as Alberobello, Locorotondo, Cisternino, Ceglie, Martina Franca, and the stunning Polignano a Mare. Despite its serene location, the Trullo is just a short distance from Ostuni, the famous "White City", the only town in the valley with access to the sea, and one of the most vibrant centers of Apulian tourism. A magical place where history, nature, and tradition come together, offering an authentic and unforgettable experience.
My family is my life :) I am deeply in love with my Puglia, a land of endless olive groves, picturesque villages, dry stone walls, sea breeze, and above all, trulli—symbols of a rural civilization where man and nature lived in perfect harmony. I would love to share this passion with anyone who comes to visit. Meeting my guests is a way for me to travel without leaving—through their stories and their language, they take me on a journey to their homeland.
The Trullo Picchigiuda is 4 chilometres away from the centre of Ostuni, in the countryside of the Itria Valley, known as the Valley of Trulli. It is immersed in an expanse of undulating red soil land marked by endless dry stone wall and picturesque olive trees. The millenary landscape all around the Trullo has remained intact through the centuries and will bring you back in time to immerse yourself in history. Therefore the Trullo Picchiagiuda offers visitors the possibility of enjoying a different type of holiday in a serene oasis but very close to important touristic cities like Ostuni. Ostuni is renowned as the white City due to its characteristic historical centre. This gem of urban planning built on the highest hill of the zone is a weft of entangled alleyways, arches and stairs that meet at the summit where the Cathedral and the Bishop's Palace stand out. For many years, the sea of the Ostuni coast has been awarded the prestigious Blue Banner which marks it as one of the Italian boot's most frequented tourist destinations.
