La Corte di Alice, set within the splendid Palazzo Bufalari, provides a warm and comfortable welcome to its guests in the ancient historic centre of Lugnano in Teverina. The recent works of renovation have sought to maintain the flavour and grandness of this magnificent ancient palazzo: spacious rooms, vaulted ceilings, antique furniture, doors and windows which, combined with modern practical facilities, reflect the unique charm of Lugnano as a place to visit and enjoy. A truly poetic, yet quite unexpected 360 degree panoramic view can be enjoyed from the top terrace. Here, looking over the warm gentle tones of the village rooftops and across the timeless Tiber valley below, extending as far as the distant horizon, there is a view, which, at dusk is not only magical, but also reminiscent of Italian Renaissance paintings. This atmosphere, the hallmark of which is tranquility, is one in which we wish to offer our guests an attentive yet discreet service that is at the same time welcoming and familiar. Our wish it that your stay at La Corte di Alice will remain with you as “your special place” to which you will always want to return.
