Jamin is a true desert nomad. From a desert village, he brings the relaxed desert lifestyle and hospitality into the city and into his hotel and restaurant. Jamin and his crew are dedicated to making your stay as comfortable as possible. He also organises camel and jeep safaris with his trusty camel Michael. Safaris are in completely non-touristic areas and can last from 1-21 days, depending on the travellers' needs.

Crazy Camel Hotel is your home away from home. Great pride is taken in the cleanliness of the whole premises and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. Come and enjoy desert hospitality, a relaxed atmosphere and friendly vibe and views of Jaisalmer Fort from the rooftop. You can also enjoy tasty food and chai from Mud Cup Café or book a tailor-made desert excursion.

Neighbourhood information

The guest house is located centrally in the city of Jaisalmer and is a 3 minute walk from the oldest living fort in India, which can be seen from the rooftop café. It is also a short 10 minute walk from Gadisar Lake, and about 10-15 minute walk from the railway station. Local restaurants, shops and havelis are located all around the area.
