The Homey suite in Zichron Yaakov located at the southern tip of the Carmel mountain and midway between north and south of Israel is about leisure, comfort, wine and wineries, friendly folks and life celebration. With nature peeking in from every window, a serene atmosphere is always present comforting & refreshing the spirits towards new explorations and adventures - be it hiking, beaches, excellent food and wine, cultural and artistic venues or simply lazying in the shade. It is a welcoming place suitable for couples and families alike - with all the necessary for a long vacation stay in place and in plenitude. Drora and myself love hosting, and we see a privilege in sharing one of the most inviting and comfortable listings in Zichron Yaakov with our guests. We are discrete and ready to go out our way to make our guests stay a pleasant and memorable one.
Uri works in medical devices research and development. Drora is a children counselor, running a clinic specializing in NLP and guided imagery practices. We consume and practice art (mostly music, theater, photography, painting & sculpture and video). Family folks. Love to meet new people and to travel.
Our town and the locations near by are unique through diversity: * Zichron Yaakov's scenic and touristic central street with its picturesque buildings and numerous restaurants and shops, as well as historical monuments related to its settlement since 125 years ago * Just 700m away, the private nature reserve "Shmurat Hanadiv" run by the Rothschild family foundation showcases one of the most beautiful and elegant gardens in Israel, featuring many trails overseeing the Mediterranean from the slopes of the Carmel mountain. * Elma - the new and luxurious cultural venue* is 5 minutes drive away, offering almost every evening fine music (all genres) / dance and theater shows * Carmel Mizrachi, Hatishbi, are just 2 of many prominent wineries in town featuring visitors centers where wines can be tasted and the wine production toured Within 20 minutes drive of Zichron one can reach ** the seashore, ** Shuni and Caesarea ancient amphitheaters where many music shows are on especially during March- November period ** The near-by Arab villages Fureidis and Jasr-a-Zarka complement with their historical sites and their typical ambiance, buildings, taverns and atmosphere.
