Amphora Villas is located in the heart of the picturesque village of Akrotiri, at the southwestern tip of the island. During the medieval years, it was under the conquest of the Venetians. It is located at the foot of the Venetian Castle of Akrotiri, which the inhabitants used as a fortress. Akrotiri is world-famous due to the prehistoric settlement of the 17th century BC. century, discovered during excavations. Old Winery Cave House is just 1 km away from the excavation site, which you can visit. It is one of the most beautiful, quiet and picturesque villages of Santorini with a unique view. It is located close to the famous Caldera, where you can enjoy the amazing, wild view of the Caldera and the volcano and the world-famous sunset of Santorini. The seductive beaches of the Caldera, Akrotiri and Kokkini Paralia are equally close. Akrotiri has Cycladic, traditional architecture, with cave houses (carved into the rock). Combining incredible views, unique architecture, unique sunsets, and nearby attractions is an ideal choice for accommodation in Santorini. You will find that you will have easy access to all the locations of Santorini that you wish to visit.
