Quiet village location in mid-Cornwall, the fully furnished barn sits in our compound. Off street parking, First floor entrance, sitting room, kitchen diner, settee, Satellite TV, dining table Kitchen: includes sink, cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, crockery/cutlery. Downstairs bedroom: double bed, wardrobe, bedside table, mirror. En-suite includes fixed and detachable shower, washbasin, toilet and heated towel rail. Outside seating on first floor and ground floor patio area.
Elaine and I are a friendly retired professionals who have long aspired to relocating down to beautiful Cornwall, to enjoy the rambling and peaceful countryside, the beautiful beaches and the lovely country walks. Having ticked off that aspiration, we are now in a position to share the experience with holiday makers who choose to vacation here in Cornwall. We have recently completed the refurbishment of the barn that is located at the rear of our property. It is an ideal pied-a-terre for the discerning holiday maker.
Quiet, linear village, situated about 5 miles from St Austell, 10 miles from Newquay, 12 miles from Truro, and 5 miles from the Eden Project. Local shopping facilities at Roche and Nanpean. Main town associated with Whitemoor is St Austell. Whitemoor is a small linear village, situated between Roche and Nanpean. Getting around Whitemoor is possible on foot or bicycle. There is a walking/cycle track at the top of Whitemoor. Both Roche and Nanpean (at either end of the village) offer pub/restaurant, launderette, post office, grocery shopping and take-out services. The A30 and the Cornwall Services complex are a short drive away. St Austell, Newquay, Padstow and Truro are also less than a 20 minutes drive from Whitemoor. There are some lovely beach restaurants in nearby Charlestown.
