Book your stay at Rookery Nook (built in 1786) next door to St Micheal’s Church & on the same street as the Parsonage & seconds from the cobbled Main St with a whole variety of shops, pubs, cafes, antiques and the famous KWVR steam trains. Stunning moor views and walks to the Brontë waterfall and Wuthering Heights. The room decor is complimented with a King-sized sleigh bed and fireplace, church pew windows & a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom & large garden. The room view overlooks the cobbled Main Street. The garden features two water fountains, and a decorated tree, all paved and filled with statues, flowers, potted plants and hanging baskets. Hi there! My name is Nathaniel Scott-Duxbury, I’m 35 years old and I’m a retired professional Musical Theatre Artist. I was born and bred in Haworth but spent my performing career on adventures touring the world with ‘Princess Cruises’, performing in two European tours of the Queen musical ‘We Will Rock You’ with rock legend Brian May, and most recently become a professional roller-skater performing in the musical ‘Starlight Express’ by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber. I also been extremely fortunate to dance on British television for artists such Emelie Sandes, Alesha Dixon, Arlene Phillips and Craig Revel Horwood to name afew. My other hobbies include fashion, the gym and modelling, as well as socialising, taking long walks/hikes, cycling, exploring and travelling the world. I love to meet new people and make new friends from all over the world and learning their cultures. I look forward to meeting you! Nathaniel
Cobbled roads, antique shops, cafes, pubs, Brontë museum, steam trains, Haworth church where two of the bronte sisters are buried and walking trails and tours all on the doorstep. Evening dining in several fantastic restaurants and night life in the local public houses Haworth has it all for an enjoyable week or weekend. You can walk as everything is within distance. Bikes can be stored on the premises and if you’re driving here there is a car park behind the house. Unfortunately you have to pay for car parking a reasonable amount for 24 hours but free for blue badge holders (you can pay for your parking in cash at the machine or via the mobile app 'Ring and Go' and follow the instructions) The IDENTIFICATION CODE for this car park is: 30529 The car park is the BRONTE MUSEUM CAR PARK, postcode is: BD22 8DU 1 minute away from our property. There is also regular bus services that can take you to other villages and into the main town of Keighley with great train connections, a friendly local taxi firm, BRONTE TAXIS or of course our famous steam trains at the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway.
