The Prince of Wales is situated in the hamlet of Newtown on the Lizard Peninsula. The building dates back to the 16th Century and is very close to the beautiful Helford River. We have a bar and restaurant with 2 self-serving bed and breakfast rooms on the first floor, both are en suite. Contact free check in to make after 3pm. Tea, coffee, coffee pods, milk, bread, eggs, cereals and fruit juice are provided for guests to prepare themselves breakfast using the guest kitchenette onsite. Breakfast can eaten in our tranquil garden on sunny mornings or using the dining table and chairs in each room.
The public house was recently purchased by the local community after being closed for almost 3 years. It is now run by 3 landlords David, Emma and Michelle.
Being situated less than 5 miles from the beautiful Helford River. Newtown St Martin is a quiet hamlet that is great for those with a passion for walking or wanting to explore the gorgeous Lizard Peninsula and the spectacular cornish countryside.
