Ground Floor: Open-Plan Living/Dining Room - high ceilings with restored original beams and stonework. Wood effect tile, under floor heating, wood burner, seating for 4 in dining and sofa area, a glass viewing area/entrance. Smart TV, games and books available.. Eat-In Kitchen located 3 steps down from ground floor entrance - Tiled floor over under floor heating, handmade wooden units, built in eating area, Miele oven and induction hob, microwave, retro fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and a bespoke full-wall local area Os map. Toilet and sink room (Bathroom 3) located off the kitchen. First Floor -*NOTE* BRs are on opposite sides of the LR each accessed by their own stairs, BR 2 (Hayloft) has LIMITED HEADROOM on one side due to historic beams: Bedroom 1 (Bankside): Bed option 1 SuperKing bed (default) or 2 singles. Toilet/Shower room (Bathroom 1) entrance immediately adjacent to BR1. Bedroom 2 (Hayloft): With double bed and ensuite toilet/shower room (Bathroom 2). There are no bathtubs in the property. Originally from New York City we are Lake District enthusiasts who love living onsite with our children and two wire haired dachshunds. Please contact us if you are interested in bringing your dogs on holiday or to discuss any needs you or your family might have. We are available for advice and to help in any way we can - we look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful barn which we have personally restored with all new furnishings and fixtures for 2024! It has stunning original features such as wooden beams and rustic stonework, with the added bonus of modern amenities and luxuries such as a Miele oven and induction hob, under floor heating, tiled floors, handmade kitchen units, built-in seating and storage, and bespoke furniture. We think it is the perfect place for families or friends to gather, appreciate the magnificent views and plan adventures on a Lake District holiday!
There are endless hikes in The Lake District! Boat trips, adventure activities like paddle boarding and kayaking, Ghyll scrambling, wildlife parks, aviation experiences, swimming, shopping, eating….the possibilities go on and on for holiday adventures!
