The flat is a beautiful Victorian style house, with two bedrooms. One with the private garden that I rent and the second one being my room. The rooms are in opposite sides of the flat which makes it ideal for privacy. There is one bathroom in the property that you will share with me only. The kitchen is fully equipped and big enough. The area where the flat is located is residential and very quiet, yet mins away from restaurants and bars. The American embassy and Battersea power station are just around the corner. The famous MI5 building is just metres away, the famous Vauxhall tavern is mins away. For those cricket fans the oval stadium is mins away. Vauxhall grove is a very special area and has a fantastic sense of community with a local cafe, green areas also bursting with nature. You’ll find secret gardens, leafy overgrown corners, vines climbing up the house fronts and both tropical and native trees planted in every available space.
The host works in fashion and is outgoing. Jose has lived in London for 15 years and knows the city extremely well, as well as being well connected and informed with what is going on. He is social and very friendly.
Vauxhall grove is a very Special area and very well connected. With lots of green spaces and super quiet. Zone 1, 400 metres away from Vauxhall station and railway. Easy access and lots of restaurants as well as bars and markets.
