The house is situated on a dune plot and on the terrace you can hear the roar of the sea. Hvide Sande is not far away, there you can stroll and eat well. There is also freshly caught fish for sale. Visit a fish auction or the Fiskeriets Hus, a museum with local fauna of the sea. In the local history museum Abelines Gaard you can see how a beach forester lived about 150 years ago. You can also sail the North Sea on a wooden ship.
