Our Glamping site cabin is located on a 14 acres property in the middle of the woods. You will enjoy complete privacy and use of your own area on the land. The Glampsite is brand-new and has a big deck as outdoor space with a big covered outdoor kitchen that includes a table and bench seat for eating. The 20ft diameter canvas bell tent has skylights and windows for air circulation. It is furnished with a queen bed and pillows and comforter plus warm blankets. There is a small love seat, 2 chairs and a coffee table, a fan, a nightstand lamp and woven carpets. An outdoor shower provides forest views and hot water. We provide biodegradable organic soaps, shampoo, conditioner and cleaning products as well as fresh towels, wash cloths and a hair dryer. An electric tank will provide hot water for the shower and the kitchen which includes a new small electric 2 burner cookstove. Apart from that the kitchen is stocked with all new appliances such as a fridge with freezer, a toaster oven that fits a 12” pizza, a toaster, an electric water kettle, an espresso maker, a coffee machine and a french press for coffee. We provide organic tea and coffee, organic sugar, oil and spices.
I love living in nature and enjoy creating beautiful and peaceful places to share with people. I am a potter and have a fully equipped pottery studio on the property and the Glamp site is filled with my handmade dishes. Pottery lessons are available upon request.
We are located close to the Transcanada Trail and the Kinsol Trestle, a World Heritage Site with beautiful swimming holes right underneath the bridge. You are in the Cowichan Valley here which is famous for all its vineyards and wineries, beautiful bays, rivers, lakes for canoeing, kayaking and swimming, mountains for hiking and biking, and many farm to table opportunities. Tubing, organic bakeries, artisan studios everywhere, farm markets and cultural events, there is something for everyone.
