The Retreat at Finca Solana is designed to accommodate guests who enjoys family and friends gathering in a rustic setting. 90% of the house is built with native hardwood. A cozy and unique abode in every way. It is situated a corner away from the sea side, at the north end of Corozal town. With most restaurants, shops and farmer's market within walking distance. you can skip hop and get your things. It is designed for you to be immersed in nature, with the comfort of home.
Hi, I am a talking and walking environmentalist. who believes in a minimalistic life style to help the environment. My home is designed from ideas gathered from having lived and worked across the country of Belize, especially in the most out of reach villages. Its a minimalistic designed, to allow for friends and family gatherings. Something that i enjoyed very much in rural settings where large groups can gather, for a delightful meeting. May your stay at my home be a start to revitalizing your journey.
The Retreat at Finca Solana is situated a corner away from Mangrove Park. One of the few remaining public access sea side park. It is in a quiet neighborhood, with lots of new development. Yet, still much of nature is around. You can hear lots of birds, witness flocks of parrots, occasional sighting of Yucatan jays, mangrove cuckoo, awaken by the early calls of the chachalakas, and lucky ones can get a chance to witness the toucans, pygmy owls, and green iguanas. The neighborhood is still home to many native animals and birds. A safe haven for naturalists to enjoy them right from the deck of the Retreat. Its otherwise very quiet and safe, with friendly neighbors with a few roosters and dogs.
