"Bon Bini na Kas ChuChubi" - Welcome to Kas ChuChubi! This well-equipped studio apartment is furnished with an eye for detail and comfort; ideal for longer stays. It has a wonderful large luxury king-size box spring bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower and toilet, air conditioning, ceiling fan and windows with shutters and mosquito screens. At the front of the studio is a picnic table, the perfect spot to relax and take the time to watch the exotic birds of the area, read a book, drink a glass of wine and chill like a local. Since first stepping foot on the island of Bonaire in 2011, we dreamt of moving to this small Caribbean island. Wanting to create a destination for people to share the incredibly relaxing and no-hassle atmosphere which we have experienced on our multiple visits. It wasn’t until September 2018 that we were able to make the move. Having found a perfect location which, in September the following year, would become our adult only Bed and Breakfast and Studio Apartment. We have called it "Kas ChuChubi" named after the chuchubi, the Papiamentu name of the tropical mockingbird that inhabits the island and welcomes visitors with its melodic call.
Kas ChuChubi Studio Apartment is located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood, within easy walking distance to the center of Kralendijk. A short walk will get you to one of the town beaches, where you can enjoy sunsets over the sea. The restaurants, shops, water taxi to Klein Bonaire and the other amenities of downtown Kralendijk are within a 10 minute walk.
