The property offers a Unique glamping experience in a charming vintage caravan renovated in a fresh and modern coastal feel with uninterrupted lake and sunset views on the Canton Beach Foreshore. Outdoors meets indoors in beautifully private landscaped setting Chez (At) Mere (Mothers or by the Sea). Although pets are welcome to visit, the property is not fully fenced so they must be able to be controlled and not run away. A pet bed and dog bowl is provided on the deck undercover. Parking is right on site so you can easily empty your car or park your water toys securely off road. The van itself has a queen bed with storage underneath and robe area in the bedroom. The dinette area has generous bench seating suitable for two children to sleep or the table can be dropped down to create a double bed. The kitchenette provides for food prep and wash up with full fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave, air-fryer, sandwich press, pod coffee machine, milk frother, complimentary tea, coffee pods, milk and water. There are two smart TVs, one 32inch in the living space connected to wifi to stream your favourite shows and the other is 24 inch in the bedroom also connected to wifi. This TV can be swung around to enjoy viewing from the deck. For your comfort, there is reverse cycle aircon to keep you cool and warm as needed. To keep the van fresh and clean, an outdoor bbq is provided for cooking situated on the large deck with outdoor dining area. You will also find a picnic basket and rug to enjoy your nibblies and drinks on the foreshore watching the sunset or any other beautiful location you may venture to. Resort style ensuite is semi-detached to the van with shower, toilet, pedestal basin and 3in1 light, exhaust and heating. The site is newly established with lush gardens still to grow but you will instantly feel the oasis vibe when you arrive. For those cool nights there is both a firepit area and outdoor heating under the deck.
Welcome to Chez Mere, my little piece of paradise that reminds me of Mauritius where I was born and migrated from at an early age. The translation from French to English of Chez (At) and Mere means both At Mothers and By the Seaside. My children and grandchildren love spending time at Mere's and I wanted to create a space that allowed others to share what its like to wake up every morning to the beautiful view of the lake and watch dog walkers greeting eachother that sets a great vibe for a day on the foreshore. Children playing in the park or riding their bikes, paddleboarders and kayakers out in the water, the sailing club yachts floating past with their spectacular colourful sails right through to the closing of the day with a breathtaking sunset. Come share my little piece of paradise in your own private space.
The Central Coast offers an abundance of glittering waterways with calm lakes, crystal clear beaches and national parks north and south of this location to explore. The walk/bicycle path between Noraville and Long Jetty has just been completed which begins at the Evans Road meandering through the Wyrrabalong National Park. Start your day at oe of the many choices of local cafes. There is a cafe just two doors down if you don't feel like venturing too far from your home away from home. Canton Beach is situated right near Toukley, Noraville and Norah Head which has a beautiful lighthouse and coastline below. There are many parks, cafes, restaurants and clubs in the area. If you need to food shop, there is a Coles in Toukley and an Aldi in Noraville. Toukley also has a Liquorland on the main road and loads of op shops. For a larger variety of shops, Lake Haven shopping centre is approximately 10 minutes away with a great choice of retail stores such as BCF, Harvey Norman, the Base, BBQs Galore, JB Hi-Fi, Kmart just to mention a few. Lake Haven also has Metro Cinemas if you feel like catching a movie. Wyong approximately 20 mins away has the Art House Theatre for live entertainment or art exhibition and a great choice of places to eat and drink. If you fancy a round of golf, there are beautiful courses in the area starting with our local Toukley Golf Course, Kooindah Waters Wyong, Wyong Golf club and Shelley Beach (close to The Entrance/Long Jetty).
