Songbirds Rainforest Retreat offers a unique combination of nature, relaxation and indulgence. Imagine escaping to a 50 plus acre rainforest hideaway, staying in a luxurious private Chalet for two! Songbirds has it all and more within less than an hour’s drive of Brisbane (Queensland’s capital city) and the glorious Gold Coast beaches. At Songbirds all guests are VIPS. We focus on guests’ comfort and pleasure. The beautiful natural rainforest surroundings, and all the little luxuries that include therapeutic massages to ensure guests leave feeling relaxed and revitalised.
Guests stay in one of 7 Chalets or our spacious 2 bedroom Executive Villa, sleeping four adults, scattered among the emerald rainforest you can wake to the sound of Australia’s famous songbirds. These include kookaburras, whipbirds and lorikeets. Each beautifully appointed Chalet offers a king size bed, spa bath, lounge area with a warm fireplace for cooler nights and a large outdoor deck. Facilities include minibar fridge, tea and coffee, microwave, television with local channels and a stereo. All our villas come equipped with amenities, bathrobes and slippers for your comfort and enjoyment. Take a relaxing wander through the garden, you’ll see and hear the birds Songbirds is so famous for.
Songbirds Rainforest Retreat has it's own walk track through the property which accessed exclusively by our guests. There are many things to do on Mt Tamborine. Visit the galleries on Gallery Walk, the Jasmine Organic Lavender farm, Witches Chase Cheese, Tamborine Mountain Distillery. Perhaps a round of golf or a romantic scenic picnic? There are also wine tours and of course shopping, theme parks etc on the Gold Coast.
