Company information

We are a big family and together we enjoy nature, the sea and gardening. We speak Albanian, Greek, English and Italian.

Property information

In 1982 Margarita Guesthouse was built, it was a small traditional house, like the ones you can spot along our riviera. During 2011 we renovated the house and added two more floors. During the renovation we preserved traditional elements such as wooden roofs, stone mantras, vineyards and gardens. From here we have great views both of the sea and the mountains that has been protecting the Himara area from invadors thru history. When you stay with us you are welcome to enjoy our garden, patios and of course all of the jams, pies and cakes that grandma Margarita makes. Most of the ingredients we use is either from our garden or locally produced, all ecologic! How to get to our house When you arrive Himara from Vlore direction you follow the mainroad in front of Spila (cave) until you reach Proper Pizza and La Familia piceri. On the other side of the road from La Familia Piceri there is a traditional stone paved staircase with an arch window, follow the stairs and you will see our house on your right hand side. If you come from Saranda direction you will first see La Familia Piceri on your left, and the staircase will be on the right side of the road.

Neighbourhood information

The best thing with our neighborhood is that it is without stress and has a more relaxed atmosphere than in the centre, even if it is close by. There is a handfull of small roads and paths to explore around our property – if you go for a stroll don't be surprised if you run into a friendly group of goats! When you are ready for a swim the beach is 50 meters away.
