The staff were really friendly and the 24/7 bar/coffee shop was great. We were a couple with a packed itinerary and private room so we didn't spend too much time there, but it seemed like there was a good mix of travellers with social vibes and events being advertised. Obviously it's not the Soho Ritz, it's a hostel in LIC, so it won't be for everyone, but I'd definitely stay there again next time I visited.

Very close to Manhattan, like a 5 minute walk to the subway - Montrose Av. Also the graffiti walls are exceptional, strangely it makes you feel at home and safe. They offer free water, hot and cold. They have coffee or tea. There is a small kitchen and a fridge, i believe. The staff is great, helpful and they work 24/7. The lobby is very cozy, great for some takeout dinner. The room, at least the one i've stayed in, was very clean, the beds were comfy and the bathroom was probably better than in most cheap hotels. My first hostel ever and i seriously can't complain about anything!
