It was so calm and quiet, perfect space to wind down and especially during low season you get the ultimate perk of having basically no people at the beaches ;) Sofia the host was super friendly and helpful... couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. Nice kitchen and facilities! Just keep in mind that you have to do groceries etc in the centre, as there's only a small restaurant around (which is cheap and good though). And it's a different island than Madeira itself, not everyone may know this ;)

I had to work some days and the wifi was good enough for some video calls. I am very sad that i had to leave.

The rooms were big and full of natural light. The common space was well organized, and equipped.

Great hostel with great accommodations. The room was perfect and spacious. The shared bathroom and kitchen are really good and the space outside is really nice for having a drink at the end of the day.

Guests that wish to have more privacy may stay in double or twin rooms. I really enjoyed the time I spent with the ppl I met there. One of the best hostel experiences I ve ever had. The patio helps a lot.

Dorm rooms have lockers, individual reading lights and access to shared bathroom facilities. Extra bed is necessary to request to the Hostel. The location of the hostel is very good and central, the hostel is located in one of the bussiest streets full of restaurants, and just a couple of minutes from the sea. The hostel itself is cozy and the kitchen is suitable for cooking. I also was lucky to meet a lot of cool people there! Christina, the manager of the hostel and the receptionist, was the best, really. She was very friendly and helpful ever since I started my trip there, but she also did everything in one “emergency” situation once my and my friend’s flights were cancelled and we didn’t have a place to stay for the extra four nights. Even though theorically the hostel was fully booked, she manage to find a cancellation and gave us a room. She was trully a very caring and helpful person which I was very happy about! The other person in the hostel’s reception was also very nice.

The nearest airport is Cristiano Ronaldo Madeira International Airport, 57 km from the hostel. Friendly owner, good parking, nice clean rooms. Breakfast was a bit of a surprise, even if the offer was not big, everything was good.
