To say we had a wonderful stay, would be an understatement! Wendy was so welcoming and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The grounds are beautiful, very quiet and you really feel like you're in a little oasis, away from the city. The cabin we slept in was lovely, with cute decorations and there was tea and coffee available. Wendy gave us lots of tips to discover York as well! We only met Andrew on the last day of our stay but he was just as lovely as Wendy! I couldn't recommend Acorn Glade enough if you're looking to relax away from the city and feel like you're in your own little nature bubble. I could write 3 more paragraphs about how amazing our stay was with Wendy and Andrew, but I'll leave it at this :)

The host Andy was very accommodating. The tents were a good size for two plus a toddler, with the second small mattress! All utilities required were there and much more! We made a fire in the fire pit that burned very well and was easy to set up. During the day the tents got very warm, but cooled down significantly for nice sleeping and cuddling under the warm blankets!
