The location is great, around 10 mins walking distance to Stupa. The staffs are so helpful because my iphone' s charger had some problems, one staff helped a lot to fix it, like borrowing me charger or provide a sim card stick. The hostel is running by a monastery. Great energy and great compassion that you can feel.

Fantastic place to stay in Kathmandu and in the heart of Boudha - (even written up in NY Times! https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2025/02/27/travel/things-to-do-Kathmandu.html). Warm welcome every time and lovely clean and comfortable rooms. Everything in Boudha is within a stroll and the breakfast and coffee at Sabila a lovely start to every morning. The team are so accommodating and flexible, always there to help out. I will be back to stay again.

There were 11 of us staying at this Hotel for 1 night before flying off to Paro, Bhutan. So we were not able to enjoy their breakfast. I requested for the breakfast to be changed to lunch since our Room Rate has included breakfast. The Hotel was very kind to us and gave us complimentary staff. The Hotel also arranged for airport pick up and transfer for us at a reasonable price. From the Hotel, it is within walking distance to Boudha Stupa. We love this Hotel so much. The Hotel restaurant has a beautiful view of the Boudha Stupa too. I shall strongly recommend this Hotel to travellers who might want to spend some time at Boudha Stupa and its nearby area. The Hotel Front Desk Staff were well trained and extremely helpful. One of the tall guy with Chinese Face helped me to cancel my dinner reservation at one of the nearby restaurant just because I was too lazy to walk to the restaurant for the cancellation. Sorry I forgot about his name.

A Hidden Gem in a quiet, Buddhist part of Kathmandu. I had the pleasure of staying at ViaVia Boutique Hotel during my recent trip to Kathmandu, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality, stylish design, and peaceful atmosphere—a true oasis amidst the bustling energy of the city. The rooms are beautifully decorated, combining modern comforts with charming local touches. Everything was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I especially appreciated the thoughtful details like eco-friendly toiletries and locally sourced decor that gave the space a unique, authentic feel. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every aspect of my stay was perfect. They were always friendly, helpful, and ready with great recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area.
