My first night in Guatemala, I decided to stay at a luxury hotel, which ended up costing me a lot without being satisfied. The second night, I stayed at Casa Quetzal, and it was absolutely lovely. I was welcomed with open arms and was able to check in earlier than planned. Additionally, I was driven to the archaeological museum and the zoo, which are only a few minutes away. Traveling alone can be scary sometimes, and Guatemala is not the safest city, but sleeping at Casa Quetzal felt like being at home. The house was clean, and the rooms were comfortable. In addition, I was driven to the airport in the morning and given a breakfast package to go. I highly recommend this place. This couple has been running this bed and breakfast for 6 month, as it always was there dream. And they are doing a great job. - Elin, 27 years old.

The apartment is very modern, clean, on the 11th floor with a living area and a kitchen. I felt very safe and the host Dani is very kind and picked me up late in the night from the airport (the location is directly next to the airport but you can only access the airport on the west side and the apartment is on the east side) and Dani was so helpful with further questions and arranging a taxi for the next day to Antigua.

Directly at the airport. Short walk, or 2 minutes by taxi or uber (you should take one at night). Very safe, in an enclosed living quarters. Great hospitality, who gave us a quick course about the ins- and outs of Guatemala. Do's/ don'ts. The rooms are very decent. Exactly what you need coming from the airport, or heading to for a flight in the morning.

It was really good. A great place to stay if you are traveling with your family. The location is great, close to atractions such as Aurora Zoo and Mundo Petapa. The apartment was very clean. We all felt very comfortable.

Beautiful apartment very close to the airport! Really clean, very modern, huge TV as well. The gym and communal lounge area were also a great surprise. (Note it also has a laundry you can pay for as well). Brilliant place to spend the night after flying before our onward journey to Antigua. Adriana and her brother were super helpful over WhatsApp as well. Wish we could've stayed longer!
