The location is out of this world!!! The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Paolo and Tanya made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was fantastic. Cannot recommend it highly enough. If I come back to San Marino I would definitely stay there.

The 3-star Superior La Grotta Hotel is set in San Marino’s centre, a few metres from the main square Piazza della Libertà. The hotel facilities were good. You have to prepare your self for good hike to reach the hotel. Actually this is the main feature of the historic city center. The room has everything we need. The view was really amazing particularly for the sunrise and sunset
