South AfricaI had an amazing overnight stay! The space was impeccably clean, with every little detail thoughtfully taken care of, making it incredibly comfortable and welcoming. From the fresh linens to the well-stocked amenities, it was clear the hosts take pride in providing a top-notch experience. The location was perfect—just a stone’s throw from the freeway, making it super convenient for travelers. Despite its proximity, the stay was peaceful and quiet, offering the best of both worlds.
A special shoutout to Pieter, the host, who was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond by waiting up for us when we arrived late. His warm and accommodating nature truly made our stay exceptional. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a flawless experience!

It is a lovely working farm. Lovely stay. Great place for city children to experience farm life. The internet is intermittent & there is only cellphone signal at a certain part of the farm, up on a small hill. Garingboom has no airs or graces.
Garingboom has no airs or graces. It’s a very comfy farm cottage in the middle of the Karoo which makes it a very ideal overnight ( or longer) stay. If one is looking for modern or fancy then perhaps this is not for you. The hosts Jan and Riette make one very welcome and made sure we had everything we wanted.
