We always like home off the beaten track and this one is lovely. It’s a large colonial period house set in a very large plot shared with the Blesbok and impala along with lovely birds and wildlife to spot coming in and out. There is a well-stocked lake to fish and short walks around the area. We found it fantastic, relaxing and the reception from the owners/family was super. We sat out one side of the house to beautiful sun rises and the other we saw sun sets. With 4 double bedrooms if can take a large family with ease. Maddi our host was super and could not do enough to see we were happy there. We be back loved it thank you.

Great value for money. The place is very beautiful, full of nature. The house was very clean and the bed so comfortable😌 . The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is amazing. We loved our stay at the Lunfird Garden Cottage. If you are searching for some tranquility outside the city, this is your place. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment was amazing. Very specious and you have everything that you need. You can come here with friends but also with your kids. It's definitely children friendly. They do have a nice pool and garden. As well as a lot of animals. We loved seeing them. It's like a little farm. You can get fresh eggs and other things if you like to. You have an amazing balcony where you can have your coffee in the morning. The bathrooms are spacious, and you can even do your laundry there. It's your private little cottage, but the owners are there if you need anything. We felt very welcomed and we hope to come and stay here again.

A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Rayton, Diamantvallei Landgoed is a guest house surrounded by views of the garden.

Staff so friendly and so efficient and caring. Special thanks to Lalie for her warmth and kindness. While visiting my family in South Africa My mom sadly passed away and Lalie greeted us with such empathy. Staying at Diamantvallei was like been at ‘home’. Also a huge thank you to Janke for your warmth and hospitality. For the delicious meals you prepared for us and for your empathetic ears and warmth you showed us. As for the accommodation our room was Cosy especially having our own fireplace in the bedroom. The entire experience was one of peace and calmness. We will definitely be back exceptional value all round.
