Enjoyed our stay. Attended the "Cry Witch' trial which was very entertaining and realistic. Performers did a great job. Also went on the Haunted Williamsburg one hour tour and heard some great ghost stories from the past. The Jamestown Scotland Ferry, then the short drive to Smithfield was a nice experience. This is the third time we have visited and stayed in Williamsburg. We enjoy the vibe there. I have genealogies from the Jamestown community, and similar interests in Norfolk City, Portsmouth and Newport News. Williamsburg makes for a nice hub to access all those places, and the hotel prices and amenities there are appreciated. Dined at various restaurants where the establishments were very clean and the food was good. Driving around Williamsburg is very easy. We also took a drive down to the ferry to Surry Seafood restaurant. This is a great little restaurant right on the water (river). We continued to Smithfield where we enjoyed the museums and many shops, boutiques. Ice cream parlor near the museum had great ice cream.

I loved Williamsburg, but then I love history and architecture, art, shopping and good food. I live in Northern Virginia, and the food is pretty dreadful. The historic city is like our second home. We go there at least twice a year. We no longer through the buildings because we've been in each one multiple times, but love walking around the streets. It would be nice for CW to offer a bus pass separate from the admission ticket for a minimal price, just in case you've seen all the buildings but want to get from the visitor center to the town.AAnonymousUnited States

The room was spacious and tastefully decorated in colonial style, matching the town’s vibe. Tom and Sue were wonderful hosts, it was super nice talking to them and knowing more about the site’s history (but not only!). The home cooked breakfast was generous and tasty! I really wish I knew about this place sooner because we loved it. We were there for a soccer tournament, so we didn't get to use all of the amenities offered, but we did get a chance to mini-golf and had a great time.
