I was pleased about everything. The staff was professional and kind. The room was beautiful, as was the reception area, architecture, and the huge lounge! Every area that I accessed smelled fresh, also. The shuttle driver was also very helpful and friendly! I will definitely stay there again!

This was my first time at the Sonesta Select Hotel. In fact, the hotel's name was all new to me. Guided by the reviews on booking.com, the great photos of the property and of course the price, I was happy to make an online reservation. I am so pleased I selected this hotel. The property was clean and inviting. The room decor was simple elegant with modern furnishing and amenities such as an ironing board and a good working iron. The staff was excellent. Two thumbs up for the front desk team. I arrived on property approximately 2 hours before check in time and a vacant room was quickly identified and I was allowed to access same early at no extra charge. The hotel's Airport Shuttle was a big plus. As it was my first time in Philadelphia, moreso as a transit passenger, I was more than happy to be picked up promptly by way of a simple call to alert the hotel of my arrival. The Shuttle Driver was very professional and knowledgeable and by way of his quick online intervention on check-out morning, I was able to confirm the correct departure terminal. I was only looking for an affordable place to crash for the night until my next flight but I got a whole lot more..an excellent room at a great price and A-grade hospitality (which included room deliveries). The only missing peice from this fabulous experience was breakfast. You guys should consider adding Continental Breakfast to the package and open the Resturant earlier in the afternoon. Since check-in time is 4:00pm and guests may arrive early and hungry, like myself, the restaurant would be the ideal place to pass the time if room is not ready. Super convenient! Access via a short covered fly-over passageway from terminal B. I was travelling on my own, so it was perfect to access the hotel with my luggage on arrival, and on departure too, as I had a super early flight at 5am. Nice large room. Very clean. Yes, the hotel is a little old fashioned, but the location more than makes up for this.

    We came into town to attend the 76ers and Hornets game.

    We came into town to attend the 76ers and Hornets game. The Wells Fargo Center is less than 15 min away from the hotel and very easy to get too. There is an Old Country Buffet and Royal Farms right next to hotel. We had dinner at Millers Ave 1119 W Baltimore Pike which is about 10 min away from hotel. Baltimore Pike is a long strip of restaurants, shopping mall and other stores. There is a walmart about 5 min away from the hotel. Although it is not a super walmart; they do have some groceries; no deli or meats. If you like to gamble, Harrah's casino is about 10 min down the road.

    This hotel is situated in a quiet area, close to Philadelphia Airport. This was our second time staying here after long International flights. The rooms are basic but spacious and clean. The beds are extremely comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and the towels were new, soft and fluffy. After an 8 hour flight we needed showers and a good night's sleep. We got both, followed by a fantastic breakfast the next morning which was included in the rate. We stayed 1 night and couldn't fault it.

    We booked a suite for an overnight stay. Overall, it was a good value. It was a clean and comfortable place to spend the night, but the breakfast in the morning was a big disappointment, not on par with comparable hotels or even an economy motel.

    Ridley Park is a nice, quiet township just outside Philly.

    Ridley Park is a nice, quiet township just outside Philly. Convenient to stadiums and airport we were there for a weekend hockey tournament nearby. Enjoyed waterfront dining at Stingers and cheesesteaks from Liberty Steaks & Tavern and the local brews at Dolan's Pub & Tumble Inn.

    I am from the area so I may be a bit biased.

    I am from the area so I may be a bit biased. Double Decker and Nifty Fifty's are a must for food. Also nearby is the restaurant responsible for creating the original Stromboli. Public transportation is decent with the train conveniently located if you want to go into the city. There is a lake nearby and John Heinz wild life if you want a place to walk.

    Lady at the front desk was really nice. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Air condition was a bit noisy. Coffee machine in the room wasn’t operational. Out of coffee in the lobby. Not a lot to choose from for breakfast. Wasn’t handicap shower as I thought I booked.a bit expensive for a marginal hotel.
