From start to finish - David messaged me literally straight away with any questions I had. David kept in touch with me throughout the stay checking if we needed anything. The room is amazing! With a Washer / Dryer , Fridge, Kettle, toaster, microwave, coffee machine. The room is very spacious and clean. The beds and Sofa bed were very comfortable. Its right in the heart of Brickell with lots of shops and restaurants in the surrounding area. Rooftop pool with a bar too! Really pleased we stayed here.

Nice clean hotel with a super nice bathroom and a nice sized bedroom. The staff was really nice and helpful. The hotel had a gym and a pool, a bar and a small restaurant (we didn't use these though). I would come here again if I flew into Miami, it was a 10 minute walk to the airport or a 5 minute Uber ride. Before booking Iwas a little concerned about the honesty of the reviews on google maps. The hotel had a spinning wheel in the lobby were you could win e.g. a free drink or a late checkout If you wrote a review. That at first seemed very sketchy and I thought about not booking here. HOWEVER you were not forced to leave a 5 star review and noone checked what I wrote. I could've gotten a free drink even if I rated this hotel badly and wrote a huge text about why I didn't like it. So I hope this review is actually helpful for someone and doesn't feel bought by the new hotel owners.

    Great stay at The Alea!

    Great stay at The Alea! The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect—walking distance to Bayside, Bayfront Park, and great restaurants, plus just a quick drive to South Beach and the cruise port. Would definitely stay again!

    Came for a cruise was there over night prior to the cruise. Just make sure you are aware what time the counter of your departing flight open see set in the Ft. Lauderdale airport for 5.5 hours before the counter opened so we can check in .

    I am not a big city person.

    I am not a big city person. Too much traffic and to many people for me but each to his own if you like this sort of thing, you will love Miami. Also, would help you if you could speak other languages I could not so it was hard to communicate during some of our interactions.

    I only go to Miami just to get a flight.

    I only go to Miami just to get a flight. Miami is not nice at all for me. Super expensive and not worth it. As you go out of Miami towards Aventura I like it more, and if going to Fort Lauderdale much better. Also I prefer to go to Naples, this place is paradise, but Miami is not nice at all for me (its almost a caos, full of people and very expensive). the other locations I mention have a better standard at a lower price.

    My family had a layover in Miami, we explored the Wynwood walls and the area around it, then headed to Little Havana and had a lovely stroll on Calle Ocho. Given the limted time, we saw quiet a lot and the overall experience was great!

    So different from everyday life with wonderful weather & exceptional views. Loved the shopping & also strolling round the waterfront at Bayside. All the people we came into contact with (including a lot of uber drivers) were so helpful & friendly. We stayed a few days prior to a cruise & a day after.
