I had a great welcome from Ken. He couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. When I returned to the hotel in the early evening, he took the time to chat to me and to ensure that I was OK. He knew that I was travelling on my own. My room was lovely, view not spectacular but that is where the hotel is, on a main road. Breakfast was fine, with a choice of cereals, yogurt and fruit. Sweet cakes, sausages and scrambled eggs. The breakfast room was clean and tidy. It's a sign of the times that everything is paper plates and plastic cutlery.
