Deadwood has the night life, travel to a lot of scenic, and historical places, are about an hour or so drive, and closer. great steak house in the basement of the Franklin called Legends, our favorite place is Mavrick's, at the Gold Dust, all around good food with decent pricing. The buildings on Historic Main Street have been preserved beautifully. The live reenactment in the historic Main Street is fun to see. We had drinks in the Wild Bull Bar (Saloon Number 10). It is the BEST spot in town! Lots of history there and a good vibe. Great place to go. There were many things to see and do. The shootouts were good as were the story telling. The Trial of Jack McCall was awesome. The actors that did the trial also did the other activities in Deadwood, and they were good, but the Trial was excellent. They were just awesome well worth seeing.Guest review bySherrilyn
