Staff hospitality and service was amazing. Pleasant, kind and very helpful attitude. Excellent kitchen in restaurant. Room was clean with air-condition and TV with loads of channels. Parking next to restaurant. Close to the centre of the town.

We really enjoyed out stay here - its a five minute walk to the baths and maybe 10 minutes to the middle of Dudince. The hotel is in a peaceful and quiet location. The room was surprisingly clean and nice considering the other reviews. The staff were all very friendly and nice, especially the man who greeted us when we arrived who is very nice. There was a bottle of local wine in the room when we arrived which was unexpected and very tasty! Obviously the hotel is old - but for us this was part of the charm. Its been closed for a while and they are working to bring it all back to full function. The room was better than expected, was nice and cool in the heat - the balcony is a nice place to relax. Plenty of parking. All good if you are not a fussy person.

We´ve booked this accommodation twice this summer, because we really liked it the first time. It has everything you need for a nice and relaxed family holiday, also very recommended if you have a dog, because the garden if fully surrounded by fence. It´s in a peaceful location of Banská Štiavnica outskirts and you will need to drive if you want to go to historical city center. But there are parking possibilities available, near the center, from which you would need a short walk. The accommodation has two separate bedrooms with double beds, one open mezzanine with double bed (this is a nice place for kids to sleep and hide, but not suitable fore small children due to the steep stairs). Overall, we really recommend this place, even in the rainy weather you can enjoy the sheltered terrace with seating and if sunny, you can use the gas barbecue.

The location was great for hiking, there’s also a lake within walking distance were one can swim or rent pedal boats. Other restaurants are also in vicinity. There are facilities were one can do fires, or BBQ and cook outdoors. Hosts very helpful.

Excellent location, close to Banska Stiavnica, close to the main road, but not noisy at all. It is a very cosy building, converted from an old peasant house. The available food is excellent, so is the tap beer :) The employees are very kind and helpful: it was fully possible to get along either inn English or German (I do not speak Slovak). The hotel also has parking lots.
