The staff were incredible. Kind, friendly, attentive, chatty. I was in town for Melodifestivalen, a huge event at Friends Arena where Sweden picks their Eurovision entry. The show is effectively Sweden's Superbowl and is a Swedish institution. Their attention to detail, with free hot dogs and "Mello Muffins" in the bar were lovely touches, plus sign making and glam stations for the kids!

The location was convenient and well connected, the rooms small but practical and cleaned every day! Both the room and the lobby were having a modern design. There was always complimentary coffee and tea in the room and lobby, great hospitality move. The staff was kind and always ready to help! Also the gym was well equipped and operating 24/7! Although the hotel is located in Solna, it's very well connected to central Stockholm – just a few minutes’ walk from the commuter rail station, which gets you to the city center in about 20 minutes. Breakfast is included in the price and honestly exceeded our expectations. They offer ginger shots, make-your-own waffles with plenty of toppings, and a great selection for building your own porridge with overnight oats or granola. There's also a nice variety of warm options like meatballs, eggs, cheeses and spreads, Swedish Wasa bread, and other pastries. The room included a kettle with tea and coffee sachets, as well as an iron and ironing board. Ours didn’t have a hairdryer, but when we asked at reception, they gave us one immediately with a kind apology. The reception staff were extremely helpful – whatever we needed was resolved right away. For example, we were moved to a new room within 15 minutes when our sink started leaking. Overall, an excellent choice for budget-conscious travelers. Would definitely stay here again!

    Easy access to Stockholm.

    Easy access to Stockholm. Good range of shops in the mall of Scandinavia which is right next to the strawberry arena in Solna. The nature reserve at Rastasjons is great as there is a paved path and provides a peaceful close to nature walk with wildlife and you can also cycle round too. There are good transport links using the metro and train. Lots of lovely restaurants of various nationalities eg Greek, Italian and Japanese to mention a few. We ate at the Greek and Italian restaurants and the meals were delicious on both occasions.

    The public transport into the city centre is excellent and is at the hotel Gio's doorstep as is the Flygbussarna coach service to the airport. There are also several local restaurants very near to the hotel. The wonderful park is just across the road.

    Solna is where the arena for concerts is in Stockholm so ideal if you want to go to a concert and don’t want the hassle of taxi or public transport. It is a nice spot with a big park and shopping centre.

    Very quiet, small neighborhood!

    Very quiet, small neighborhood! Very safe, but not much to do or places to eat/shop/ You'll need to head into Stockholm for all of that. There is a small grocery store (Coop) that had a great selection of fresh fruit/veggies, and fresh baked bread, among other typical items. It's open 7 days a week, and in that area most everything was NOT. So it was great to have the option to purchase food items there.

    The days we spent in the apartment were very good, clean and very spacious. The receptionist is spectacular, very pleasant, helped us a lot, congratulations on the service. We liked everything about Stockholm, the Visa museum has a beautiful history. The boat trip is also spectacular and super affordable. We also visited the grand place, it has good bars and restaurants. And for those who want to save money and don't want to eat in restaurants, there is a great supermarket almost opposite the hotel.

    Perfect all round. No complaints.

    Perfect all round. No complaints. The girls working at the reception (Leyla and Tina) were a pleasure and so was the manager (Desiree) for their service throughout. Made our stay and experience 10x better. Would definitely come back here.

    The room was very clean. The staff was really polite, caring and engaging, they helped us and responded to all of our requests, politely. The restaurant offered a wealthy variety for breakfast. Prices were logical and overall we consider our stay value for money. The hotel is located at Ulriksdahl train station (2-5'mins by walk). So, only 10-15' from city center with very frequent commute. We definitely recommend it to families visiting Stockholm.

    The staff were sweet to a person! Breakfast buffet was fresh, varied, and plentiful, although the room could have gotten quite loud with other guests. The room was small but well-designed with beautiful furniture pieces. Didn’t miss the lack of a closet/cabinets. Location in Solna was perfect for us visiting friends but I probably wouldn’t choose this place if I wanted to explore Stockholm city proper.

    I stayed for 4 nights, solo traveler. Breakfast buffet and staff were great! Location was great, the hotel is inside Solna Centrum mall, and the train station to Stockholm is right outside of it. The hotel is one bus away or 25 min walk to/from Friends Arena.

    Breakfast is very nice. I like very much the location. The hotel is easily accessible from the Stockholm Central with trains 40 or 41. We used these trains every day. There is a restaurant at the hotel, but we have used a nice sushi bar in the vicinity.
