I recently had the pleasure of staying at Magnolia Cottage, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The breakfast each morning was exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. It was the perfect way to start each day! Ann, the host, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. She was incredibly accommodating and always available to assist with anything we needed. Honestly, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Magnolia Cottage for anyone looking for a private relaxing and welcoming getaway! Will definitely be my go-to when I'm in the area!

So quite and peaceful. If you need to stay in the Timaru area it's worth the 11km. drive to get there. I'll be back for sure.

Very kind helpfull personel. The old style restaurant, with the hardworking people is cosy like a pub, but and the room was so confortable, brand new with thea, chocolate and coffee distribution. I was here in the 2end week of february 2023

This was such a beautiful escape. Such a quiet and peaceful atmosphere on the farm, the view was beautiful and the animals were so friendly. Hosts were elite.

Loved the size of our room, Bed was super comfy. Had a great view as we where on the top story. Staff at reception when I checked in was super friendly and made you feel very welcome, loved the spa bath in our room and the amazing pressure in the shower.

Newly Built in 2017 Black on Grey offers standalone accommodation units, located in a semi rural area, on the main road into Geraldine from Timaru.

Comfortable King size bed. Exceptionally helpful & friendly owner - even lent us her car wash brush etc so we could wash the car. Wish we had stayed there 2 nights instead of the 2 nights we booked in Kaikoura.

Hall on the Terrace is situated in Temuka and has a fitness centre and barbecue facilities. Boasting luggage storage space, this property also provides guests with a picnic area.

This accomodation is absolutely unique as the experience staying thete. The rooms are spacious and set-up well considering the history of the building. Hailey is a sympathic and welcoming host. If you like stylish historical surroundings and a quiet room for your nightrest this is a perfect place to stay. On top of the wonderful stay Hailey was great at explaining the history of her building and offering good advice for what to see on our onward journey. Thank you very much and we hope to return to this amazing and unique place.
